My name is Brent Hill, an Army combat veteran, tournament angler, and fishing guide with decades of experience crafting bass and crappie lures for anglers who demand performance. After years of success fishing large swimbaits and glide baits for trophy bass, I set out to design a bait that met my own standards—tested, refined, and proven at the highest level.

The name Willie Pete comes from my background as a Field Artilleryman. “WP” refers to white phosphorus, a munition known for precision and effectiveness—qualities that reflect the intent behind every bait I build.

Willie Pete’s swimbaits are handmade, hand-tuned, and built with premium components. Each resin bait features rotating hook hangers, a lifelike brush tail, custom paint, and a removable stainless-steel hinge pin that allows anglers to fine-tune action and weight. These baits are true hybrids—designed to glide, chop, and swim with exceptional realism.
